My theme is “Shehr i Ishtiha شہراشتہا “The word “Shehr i Ishtiha شہراشتہا “is an Urdu language word. It means “The City of Hunger” This word has so many different meanings. However, one thing that was not unheard of was hunger in its very simple and literal meaning. Whether it’s good food or a good place to eat, everyone loves it. My inspiration is a Haveli in the infamous Hira Mandi area of Pakistan. Its name is Haveli Khalil Khan. Haveli Khalil Khan was a brothel. Today Haveli Khalil Khan has changed to Haveli restaurant. This area was inhabited by the rich yesterday and still is today. The only constant that ever remains is hunger. My mood is Mashoor Kun مسحورکن which catches the eye and is something that attracts strong attention and provokes interest. The purpose of my work is to give the Haveli Khalil Khan a new staff uniform, which goes well with their theme and architecture.
