The theme of my work is Billionaire Godmother. The idea circles around the portrayal of an infamous and notorious Mafia queen. On surface level, when a person thinks or hears about the word ‘Mafia’, immediately the mind travels to the world of narcotics and the sound of gunshots may echo in one’s ears. There is more behind these closed doors, however.
Griselda Blanco/ Black widow then became my muse. The main reason was the opportunity to bring light to the criminal known as the Lady of Mafia. She was a mystery of her time and her net worth peaked at an amazing $2 billion.
The mood for this work is rebellious which is a word used for a person who likes to challenge the authorities and breaks the rules every now and then.
The point of emphasis I want to draw attention to the advantage the standard of living the Mafia class poses towards the fashion industry. Money is everything to them and working on the wardrobe of them opens various doors for creativity.
