Statement:

As a textile student I merge this opposite but relatable topic depression depicts Rust and Tiger Rose as dreams. I use rust tones and Tiger rose it’s a unique twotone type of a rose with a splashy texture to it because when you’re continuously in depression it makes you dull, cringe, you can’t make decisions it slowly turning your personality into doubts. Whereas tiger roses are a splashy looking rose that create disturbance besides its nature is very soft. I add up a little twist in it from the inspiration of aurora the natures light show that literally lighten up my mind and dreams, to show case these flowers I used florescent paint to lighten up my product. My main purpose is to be a voice for those who cannot express that they are dying inside them. Wearing is the way of expressing yourself, so I have decided to make stallers If someone wear (wear it with confidence) their scars, weaknesses with proud that they are really struggling to come out their fears and break stereotypes.
